Despite all my good intentions of attending RootsTech 2016, soaking it all in, returning home, and blogging non-stop about all of the amazing things I saw there, the reality of it all is that I spent four solid days talking to vendors, catching up with old friends, and learning as much as I could about all of the new genealogy and technology tools and advancements that may be of value in genealogy research as well as family history presentation.

And it was just, plain, tiring!  So here I am almost recovered, and ready to start sharing some posts about some of the neat products and services that were presented.

I’ll start with Memorable (www.GoMemorable.com), partly because they were just that – memorable – but also because they sent me a nice press release as a reminder 🙂  .  The folks at Memorable offer scanning, sharing and storage solutions for any type of video media. They will convert your old tapes of just about any type to digital, and create sharable presentations so that your memories don’t just sit on a shelf. They offer quite an extensive list of services and were definitely worth looking into if you are thinking about your digital options.

Here is a link to some RootsTech photos put into one of their shareable timelines.
